The Committee Substitute makes the following changes:
1. Changes the title, section heading and note;
2. In subsections (a)(2) and (b)(2), where the maturity date is unascertainable, the lien expires in thirty-five, rather than twenty, years.
3. Deletes subsection (e), which was redundant, and changes references to subsections;
4. Changes the term in subsection (2)(b) from "parties in interest" to the more specific "secured party and the grantor or mortgagor;
5. In subsection (c), the requirements for an affidavit or extension agreement, adds the words, "but is not limited to."
6. Makes other stylistic changes.
